COLLECTION RELOCATION

There are times when a collection needs to be relocated because a collector is changing homes or because an archive is being relocated from one office to another.

Animation art objects require certain types of special handling. Artwork created on cellulose nitrate with gouache looks similar to that created with cellulose acetate, xerographic line transfer and cel vinyl, but there can be certain exceptions and restraints exercised which will make all the difference to your collection's safe relocation. This includes consulting with your movers so they have a better understanding of what they are handling and how they should approach the assignment.

Consultation before a move can determine the sensitivity of your collection and protect it from hazards that might happen during relocation.
